TERM I 2011 CIRCULAR
REF: END OF TERM ONE CIRCULAR 2011
BIBLICAL WORD: Mark 12:30-31
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and Love your neighbour as you Love yourself."
As we reflect on the job of caring and nurturing the children given to us by God, I feel there can never be any other greater phrase to use than quoting Jesus’ summary of the ten commandments! Indeed it is by Love you brought your son(s) to this school! It is still the by same Love that we as teachers and support staff try moulding them into better future citizens of this nation and beyond. If this Love can prevail at all, then be certain our Institution will be one of those greatly recognised as "Child friendly schools" (CFS)! It is my prayer that each one of us can work towards gearing all our efforts in ‘Love’ of the child who is the centre of Mission.
The just ended term has had many demands from all of us! My greatest joy is that each one of us seemed so determined to fulfil all our plans! Your responses towards the many meetings held cannot go unmentioned! You attended our A.G.M on 5th March 2011 in very large numbers! Attendance of Academic Days were quite improved, Keep it up! For those who equally managed clearing fees for term one or the whole year, we say Bravo! As we challenge the defaults to step up!
Following our AGM held on 5th March 2011, MIN. 5/3/011/004, the SMC has opened a saving Account at the Co-operative Bank Mumias Branch entitled: St. Peter’s Boys Primary School Mumias A/C No. 01117067562500, for deposit of Ksh.3,000/= (Three thousand shillings only) as Harambee Cash. We encourage most of you to pay in this cash in the earliest time possible to enable our planned project carry out its initial stages. Kindly do not mix it up with the old Account where you have been depositing the usual Parental Support Cash. If you are still paying fees for this year, then deposit on the Old Account. But use the new Account for Harambee Funds only.
The new term will commence on Tuesday 3rd May 2011. Kindly note that our usual opening tests will begin on 4th May 2011 morning.
